Ferris State Soccer Lands Three Additional Prep Signees

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer program has announced the addition of three more talented student-athletes to its 2024 recruiting class.

The Bulldogs have added goalkeepers Korinne Ihrke (Oxford) and Morgan Fillion (Westfield, Mass.) along with defender Alivia Petri (Dakota). All three will join the program as freshmen in the fall and join five others who were previously announced as members of this year's recruiting class.

"We're excited to add three more talented student-athletes to this year's class and look forward to having them on campus this fall," said FSU head coach Greg Henson. "We've landed a strong recruiting class overall and believe this group has the talent and ability to continue to elevate our program."

Ferris State closed out the 2023 fall season by reaching the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Semifinals for the sixth consecutive year. FSU, which reached the NCAA Division II Final Four a year ago, also made its 15th-straight league tourney appearance and 17th overall in program history this campaign.

The Bulldogs will return a strong nucleus heading into next season, including the bulk of their starting lineup. Since Henson's arrival, the Bulldogs have claimed the program's first GLIAC regular-season title, first league tournament championship, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.
