Big Rapids, Mich. - A total of 68 Ferris State University student-athletes have achieved Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Team honors for the recently-completed 2017 fall athletics campaign as announced by the league office.

Overall, a total of 924student-athletes achieved all-academic recognition from across the 12 conference member institutions this past academic year.
Ferris State had 32 student-athletes tabbed to the GLIAC All-Academic Team and another 36 who received GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team recognition. This past fall, the Bulldogs' nearly 400 student-athletes combined for a cumulative 3.19 overall grade point average.
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49.
