NCAA Announces Cancellation Of Upcoming Championships Including D2 Basketball Regionals

Big Rapids, Mich. - NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors announced today the cancellation of all winter and spring NCAA Championships due to the evolving COVID-19 public health threat.

The cancellations include both the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Basketball Regional Tournaments involving the Ferris State Basketball squads.

It also includes all upcoming spring championship events at the NCAA level.

Both Ferris State Basketball squads reached the NCAA Tournament in the same campaign for the first time in school history this year and both claimed Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division Championships.
