Football
The nation's top-ranked Bulldogs pulled out a thrilling 27-24 GLIAC home win over Sagianw Valley State this past Saturday afternoon at Top Taggart Field. The victory was the ninth-straight for FSU, which is now 9-1 overall and 6-0 in league play. FSU will host Davenport in the first Calder City Classic this Saturday with kickoff set for 1 pm. Two trophies will be on the line as the Bulldogs can capture both the Calder City Classic Trophy and the outright GLIAC Championship with a win. It will also be Senior Day with FSU honoring its senior class prior to the game. The Bulldogs are first in the Super Region Three Rankings and the NCAA D2 Playoff Selection Show will take place Sunday at 6 pm.

Volleyball
Ferris State is still unbeaten on the year at a nation-best 26-0 overall following a pair of league home sweeps over Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech this past weekend. The Bulldogs lead the GLIAC with a 15-0 record and can win the outright league title with a win this weekend. FSU visits Purdue Northwest on Friday evening and then takes on Parkside in the regular-season finale on the road Saturday. Ferris State will also host a GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal match on Wednesdy, Nov. 20, at 7 pm inside Bulldog Arena. Senior Kaylee Maat became the GLIAC's all-time assists leader and earned GLIAC Player of the Week honors along with fellow senior Olivia Henneman-Dallape. Hockey Ferris State suffered a pair of close home setbacks to visitng Michigan Tech over the weekend. This week, the Bulldogs will face Lake Superior State in CCHA play starting with a visit to Sault Ste. Marie on Friday evening to face the Lakers at Taffy Abel Ice Arena. The two teams will then square off on Saturday evening in the Superior Ice Showdown slated to be held in Traverse City. Ferris State will be back at home on Nov. 22-23 hosting Augustana in league action.

Men's Basketball
The FSU men's basketball squad, ranked 25th nationally, owns a 4-1 overall mark and has won its last four games to date. The Bulldogs beat both Northwood and Lake Erie in the GLIAC/GMAC Crossover over the weekend before topping Lewis in regional play 89-66 on Wednesday night. Ferris State visits McKendree this Saturday (Nov. 16) before heading to Ashland on Wednesday (Nov. 20) for regional play. Junior center Nate Claerbaut was tabbed this week's GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Women's Basketball
The Bulldog women's basketball squad holds a 3-1 mark and posted a pair of impressive wins over Southwest Baptist and host Drury in Missouri over the weekend. FSU hosts Great Lakes Christian in the home opener Saturday night and then entertains Northwood on Wednesday (Nov. 20). Junior Mia Riley was chosen as the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Soccer / Cross Country
Ferris State earned a split in the final weekend of GLIAC regular-season play, which included a 1-0 win over Purdue Northwest on Saturday at the Bulldog Soccer Field. FSU's season, though, came to a close on Tuesday as the Bulldogs fell by a 1-0 score to Davenport in the GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals at home. Ferris State closed the year with an 8-7-4 overall mark and FSU tied for third overall in league play ... The Bulldog cross country squads closed out their fall season at the NCAA D2 Midwest Regional Championships over the weekend with the women placing 12th and the men 17th overall.
