Final FSU Regular-Season Home Basketball Games This Week; Several Promotions Planned!

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's basketball squads will play their final two regular-season home contests this week inside FSU's Jim Wink Arena and several promotions are planned in conjunction with the two doubleheaders.

The Bulldogs will host Purdue Northwest on Thursday (Feb. 20) evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. (ET) for the women and 7:30 p.m. (ET) for the men.

FSU will then host Parkside in the final regular-season home game of the year on Saturday (Feb. 22) starting at 1 p.m. (ET) for the women and 3 p.m. (ET) for the men.

Fans are encouraged to wear red on Thursday night in support of women's heart health during the annual "Red Out" game organized by the FSU sports communication program. A silent auction will take place and donations will be accepted in support of Corewell Health's cardiac rehab unit.

Along with the "Red Out" game, Thursday's matchups will also serve as Ferris State's annual Faculty-Staff Appreciation Night. All FSU faculty-staff members will be admitted free with a staff ID card and selected FSU campus staff members will be recognized during the evening events.

Saturday will be "Senior Day" with the Bulldogs slated to honor both the men's and women's basketball seniors between games. Additionally, the FSU pep band will host a side-by-side event with high school band students and it will also be "Friends and Family Weekend" on the FSU campus.

Tickets for all home contests are on sale now and can be purchased at FerrisStateBulldogs.com/Tickets.

Both home doubleheaders will be carried live on local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with an audio stream available at FerrisStateBulldogs.com. In addition, both doubleheaders will also be video streamed on a pay-per-view based by FloSports as part of the GLIAC streaming package.

The Ferris State Television program will produce a TV feed for the video stream for Saturday's action.

Both Ferris State squads sit near the top of the GLIAC standings heading into the final four games of the regular-season and are battling for top four spots and the opportunity to host the opening round of the GLIAC Tournament on March 5. The Bulldog men currently hold a 21-6 overall record while the women's team sits at 17-7 overall this campaign.
