Ferris State's Ethan Erickson Named To NABC All-Midwest District Team

Big Rapids, Mich. - Senior guard Ethan Erickson (Grand Rapids/Forest Hills Northern), who led the Bulldogs to four consecutive NCAA Division II Tournaments during his collegiate career, has been named to the 2025 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Midwest District Team.

The NABC announced its 2024-25 all-district squads, which are voted on by NABC-member coaches across Division II.

A West Michigan native, Erickson was one of five NABC Midwest Second-Team honorees. Overall, only a total of five players named to both the first and second team squads.

Previously, Erickson was also chosen this year to the 2025 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Midwest Region Second Team. He was also an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) First Team choice, becoming a three-time all-conference honoree in his college career.

This past year, Erickson tallied a team-high 16.4 points per game for the Bulldogs, who finished the year with a 25-9 overall record while reaching the NCAA Tournament for the ninth time in the past 11 years.

Erickson finished his four-year career with 1,557 total points to go with 279 rebounds, 244 assists and 66 steals in 131 collegiate games. He also set a new school record with 332 career three-pointers, shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc over his four seasons. The Bulldog standout also finished his college career shooting a school all-time best 88.8 percent from the free throw line.

Over his four seasons in the Bulldog program, Erickson helped lead FSU to a 99-35 cumulative mark. The Bulldogs also won both a GLIAC Regular Season Championship and a GLIAC Tournament title to go with three NCAA D2 Midwest Regional Semifinal finishes and a D2 Elite Eight finish in his career.
