2021-22 (Sophomore): Was Ferris State's wins leader in 2021-22, appeared in 26 games with 23 starts...had a .923 save percentage or better in four of his last five starts with a .919 mark over that period...made a season high 45 stops in game one of the CCHA Quarterfinals at Michigan Tech that went to overtime...first collegiate win came vs. Miami on October 3.

2020-21 (Freshman): Dressed in 12 games, started 11 after returning from the World Junior Championships (WJC) where he helped team USA to a Gold Medal…was first Bulldog ever to make a WJC team…made 30+ saves five times in 11 starts…made 40 plus saves three times…best save percentage game was a 40 save two goals against visit to Lake Superior State on March 6…earned Ferris State’s shootout victory over nationally 18th ranked Bemijdi State on February 5 making 27 stops. 

Prior to Ferris State: Played for PK O’Handley of the Waterloo Blackhawks in the United States Hockey League (USHL)…Stein helped lead the Black Hawks to a first place overall finish in the Western Conference and a 33-14-2 team record…finished with a .911 save percentage and 2.33 goals against average in 20 outings for Waterloo, improving both his save percentage and goals against average dramatically from a year ago…was a USHL All-Rookie Team Member with the Blackhawks…played int he Biosteel All-American Game and USHL Top Prospects Game in 2019…won a bronze medal with team USA at the World Junior Challenge…played at the youth level for the Oakland Junior Grizzlies, who also produced current BulldogsCoale NorrisJake TransitMarshall MoiseBrenden Rons, and Justin Michaelian.
