Big Rapids, Mich. - The nationally #9 ranked Ferris State University women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime draw against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action on Sunday, (Oct. 10) at the Bulldog Soccer Field.

Ferris State freshman goalkeeper Darya Mosallaei made three saves for her sixth shutout of her freshman campaign, which ties her for the third-most by a Bulldog goalkeeper in a single season with Carla Gilbertson (2004) and Rachel McCollum (2011). Mosallaei is one away from moving into a tie for second all-time.

The Cardinals controlled play early and jumped out to a 6-1 lead in shot attempts on the day. The rest of the way, however, Ferris State outshot Saginaw Valley 21-2, including 12-2 in the second half and a 6-0 mark in overtime.

Ferris State attempted eight corner kicks and held Saginaw Valley State to two tries on the afternoon.

Ferris State junior Isabella Zamborini led the way with two shots on goal in the contest. The Bulldogs won the shots on goal battle 6-3 for the day.

With the tie, the Bulldogs remain unbeaten in their last 10 outings. By the time the Bulldogs play again, FSU will be at 43 days since its last loss.

In goal, Mosallaei's record moves to 8-1-2 for the Bulldogs while SVSU keeper Olivia Argeros stands at 6-1-2 on the year.

Ferris State returns to the field Friday (Oct. 15) for a 4 p.m. (ET) tilt with the Northern Michigan Wildcats at the Bulldog Soccer Field in GLIAC play.
