Ferris State Soccer Lands Five Talented Prep Student-Athletes

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer program has announced the addition of five talented student-athletes who inked with FSU during national signing day this fall. All five will be freshmen for the Bulldogs in the fall of 2024.

The Bulldog additions include midfielder Morgan Elledge (Jackson Northwest), forward Ava Fuller (Fraser), midfielder Natalia Leavens (Northville), defender Ava Roy (Lake Fenton) and defender Anna Thelen (Forest Hills Central).

"All 5 of these players have the ability to make an immediate and positive impact in our program," said FSU head coach Greg Henson. "I'm excited to get each of them on-campus and see them hit the ground running next fall. The future is bright for Bulldog Soccer."

Ferris State closed out the 2023 fall season by reaching the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Semifinals for the sixth consecutive year. FSU, which reached the NCAA Division II Final Four a year ago, also made its 15th-straight league tourney appearance and 17th overall in program history this campaign.

The Bulldogs will return a strong nucleus heading into next season, including the bulk of their starting lineup. Since Henson's arrival, the Bulldogs have claimed the program's first GLIAC regular-season title, first league tournament championship, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.
