
Bulldog Soccer Slated To Host Final Two Regular-Season Home Contests This Week
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer team will close out regular-season play at home this week in Big Rapids at the Bulldog Soccer Field.
Ferris State will host Parkside on Thursday (Nov. 7) starting at 1 p.m. (ET) before playing the regular-season finale on Saturday (Nov. 9) beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).
The Bulldogs currently sit in fourth place overall in the league standings heading into the final two contests with 20 total points in the GLIAC. FSU trails third-place Davenport by a single point and is one point ahead of fifth-place Saginaw Valley State. The top four teams after this week's action will play host to a GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Ferris State currently owns a 7-5-4 overall record this year and the Bulldogs are 6-4-2 in conference play. FSU is coming off an impressive 7-0 league home win over Roosevelt this past Sunday in Big Rapids.
Earlier this year, the Bulldogs defeated Parkside by a 1-0 score on the road in Wisconsin on Sept. 22 and then topped the Pride by a 2-1 margin on Oct. 13 in Hammond, Ind.
Both Parkside and Purdue Northwest are currently behind Ferris State in the league standings as PNW sits sixth with 13 points and the Rangers are eighth with 10 points in conference play.
Each of this week's two outings will be streamed live on a pay-per-view basis by FloSports.
Tickets for all Ferris State Soccer home contests can be purchased at the gate and are $10 for adults, $7 for FSU Faculty/Staff and Seniors (ages 65+) along with $5 for students (age 3-17). All Ferris State students are admitted free with a valid student ID card.
