Three Ferris State Soccer Student-Athletes Earn All-GLIAC Honors For 2024

Big Rapids, Mich. - Three talented Ferris State University women's soccer student-athletes have been named to the 2024 All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) team after leading FSU to the program's 15th consecutive berth in the league tournament this past year.

In voting by the league's member head coaches, a trio of Bulldog competitors attained either first, second or honorable mention team accolades for the 2024 season.

FSU sophomore forward Katherine Welch (Ada/Grand Rapids Christian) earned All-GLIAC First Team recognition while senior midfielder Annie Hartley (Flushing) garnered second-team recognition. In addition, freshman midfielder Natalia Leavens (Northville) was an honorable mention choice.

This season, Welch ranked as the Bulldogs' leading scorer with 16 points on a squad-best five goals with six assists in 18 games. Meanwhile, Hartley played in 17 contests and had a goal for the Bulldogs while Leavens appeared in 19 games and tallied a goal and an assist in her initial collegiate campaign.

The Bulldogs closed the 2024 season with an 8-7-4 overall record. Overall, the Bulldogs also made their 17th conference tournament in program history this year and celebrated the 25th anniversary of the program this fall.
