Hockey
The Bulldog men's ice hockey team has four its last four games in a row, following back-to-back weekend sweeps. FSU claimed a pair of wins this past weekend in Sioux Falls against CCHA newcomer Augustana in the debut of the Vikings' new Midco Arena. The Bulldogs were a 5-2 winner on Friday and came away with a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday with all four goals coming off the stick of senior Stepan Pokorny, who was named the CCHA Forward of the Week .... Ferris State hosts Bowling Green this Friday at 7:07 pm and Saturday at 6:07 pm. Friday is Student-Athlete Night and all Bulldog student-athletes can get a free ticket in person at the ticket office this week. All fans are asked to wear red on Saturday for the annual Red Out event in support of women's heart health. It will also be Friends & Family Weekend on the FSU campus with a variety of events planned.
 
Women's Basketball
The Bulldog women's basketball squad recorded a pair of GLIAC road wins over the weekend, beating Wayne State 80-46 on Thursday night in Detroit before topping Saginaw Valley State 59-57 on Saturday in University Center. The Bulldogs, ranked seventh nationally this past week, are 14-2 overall and tied for first in the GLIAC at 8-1 in conference play. FSU hosts Northern Michigan in a key league matchup on Thursday night at 5:30 pm before hosting Michigan Tech on Saturday at 1 pm. Thursday is Blackout Night with fans encouraged to wear black while Saturday is the annual Red Out event in support of women's heart health with fans asked to wear red. 
 
Men's Basketball
The Bulldog men's basketball team defeated Wayne State 79-75 on Thursday night in the Motor City before falling to Saginaw Valley State 99-89 on Saturday. FSU, ranked 13th nationally last week, holds a 16-4 overall record and is in second place in the GLIAC at 6-3 in league play. Ferris State hosts GLIAC leader Northern Michigan on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm before taking on Michigan Tech on Saturday at 3 pm inside Wink Arena. Fans are asked to wear black on Thursday for Blackout Night and red on Saturday for the annual Red Out event in support of women's heart health.
 
Track & Field
The Ferris State men's and women's indoor track and field squads had strong results last week and the Bill Clinger Classic on Friday hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale. Complete results can be found online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
 
Men's & Women's Tennis
The Bulldog men's and women's tennis teams open up Division II regional play this Sunday with both teams taking on longtime regional rival Indianapolis on the road. The women's squad dropped two exhibition matches at NCAA D1 Eastern Michigan on Sunday.
                               
Softball
The Ferris State softball squad officially opens its 2024 season and year two under head coach Jake Schumann this weekend with four games on top at the Railsplitter Invitational in Harrogate, Tenn. FSU will face host Lincoln Memorial on Friday before meeting regional opponents Findlay and Ohio Dominican on Saturday. The Bulldogs then conclude the event on Sunday, taking on Findlay for the second time in the weekend event.
