Women's Basketball
The Bulldog women's basketball team, which was ranked seventh nationally in the most recent WBCA Division II National Rankings announced last week, is now 17-2 overall and still tied for first place in the GLIAC with an 11-1 conference mark after a 94-55 league road win at Lake Superior State this past Saturday. FSU led by only four points at halftime before a dominating second-half performance. The Bulldogs will host Saginaw Valley State for a Valentine's game on Thursday night at 5:30 pm and then host Wayne State on Saturday at 1 pm inside Wink Arena. The game on Saturday will be part of the GLIAC's Play4Kay campaign supporting the fight against all cancers affecting women.

Men's Basketball
The Bulldog men's basketball team fell to Lake Superior State 87-74 in a league road game on Saturday in Sault Ste. Marie and is now 17-6 overall this season. The Bulldogs return home to host Saginaw Valley State on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm before taking on Wayne State in Big Rapids on Saturday at 3 pm. Saturday will be a legacy game with FSU honoring the Bulldogs' 2003-04 GLIAC Championship team, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Hockey
The Bulldog men's ice hockey team was idle this past weekend and will return to the ice this week with a rare Thursday-Friday series at Bemidji State (Minn.). Both games get underway at 8:07 pm ET. Following the trip to Bemidji, Ferris State returns home to host Northern Michigan in the final regular-season home series on Feb. 23-24 in Big Rapids. The Feb. 24 outing will begin early at 5:07 pm for Senior Night with FSU honoring its 2023-24 senior class prior to its final home game.

Track & Field
The Ferris State men's and women's indoor track and field squads competed this past week in one of the nation's largest collegiate events, taking part in the Grand Valley State Big Meet over a two-day span in Allendale. Complete results can be found at FerrisStateBulldogs.com. FSU heads to Saginaw Valley State on Friday for the SVSU Tune-Up Meet and will return to University Center on Feb. 24-25 for the GLIAC Indoor Championships.

Men's & Women's Tennis
The Bulldog men's tennis team, which is ranked 18th nationally, beat Findlay 5-2 in regional play on the road Friday before hosting Western University (Canada) for an exhibition tilt on Sunday. The women's team fell to Findlay 5-4 and dropped a 4-0 neutral site contest against Indiana (Pa.), which reached the D2 Sweet Sixteen last year. Both squads host Northwood in regional play this Sunday in Big Rapids.

Softball
After an off week, Ferris State Softball returns to the diamond at the Music City Invitational in Nashville this Friday thru Sunday with five games on the docket. FSU will face Northwood and Kentucky Wesleyan in regional play Friday before taking on Harding and Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday. The Bulldogs close the event versus Thomas More on Sunday.
