Women's Basketball
The nationally 10th-ranked Ferris State women's basketball team fell to Saginaw Valley State by a 47-44 score on Thursday night at Wink Arena before coming back to beat Wayne State 74-64 in Saturday's home action. The Bulldogs are now 18-3 on the year and one game behind rival Grand Valley State heading into this Thursday night's showdown against the Lakers in Allendale. FSU then visits Davenport on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs have four games left in the regular season, returning home to face Parkside & Purdue Northwest next week.
 
Men's Basketball
The Bulldog men's basketball team recorded back-to-back wins over the weekend at Wink Arena, topping Saginaw Valley State 78-72 on Thursday evening before a 77-69 triumph over Wayne State on Saturday. FSU is now 19-6 overall and one win away from notching another 20-win season. The Bulldogs head to Grand Valley State on Thursday night and Davenport on Saturday afternon. Ferris State hosts Parkside on Feb. 29 and Purdue Northwest on March 2 for the final two regular-season contests.
 
Hockey
The Bulldog men's ice hockey team returns home this week for its final regular-season home series of the year, hosting Northern Michigan on Friday and Saturday at the Ewigleben Ice Arena. The puck drops on Friday for Military Appreciation Night at 7:07 pm and all veterans or active military members with ID can get $5 off a ticket in person at the ticket office. Saturday's game is an early 5:07 pm start with fans encouraged to be in their seats shortly after 4:30 pm for the senior night ceremony. A special Senior Night recognition will also take place in Wink Arena following the game and it will be fan appreciation night with free parking for all. The Bulldogs fell to Bemidji State 3-2 in overtime and 4-1 in the finale on the road this past weekend.
 
Track & Field
The Ferris State men's and women's indoor track and field squads competed this past week at the SVSU Tune-Up meet, registering a total of 34 top-eight meet performances. Ferris State heads back to University Center to compete in the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships this Saturday and Sunday.
 
Men's & Women's Tennis
The Bulldog men's and women's tennis teams beat longtime tennis rival Northwood in a home sweep on Sunday with the women scoring a 4-3 win and the men defeating the Timberwolves by a 4-0 count. The men's team will host Grace on Friday afternoon with both teams then playing host to Lewis and Hillsdale in regional action on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.
                               
Softball
The Bulldogs closed out their trip to the Nashville area this past weekend with a 9-0 shutout over Thomas More (Ky.) in regional play at the Music City Invitational on Sunday. This week, the Bulldogs head to Kentucky for the Blue Bridge Classic hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan. FSU is slated to play five games over the weekend, starting on Friday with two games versus Missouri S&T and Indianapolis. On Saturday, Ferris State will face Thomas More & Missouri-St. Louis before closing out the event on Sunday with a single tilt against Tiffin. All are regional matchups for the Bulldogs.
