Follow The #BulldogSummer Social Media Blitz
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University Athletics will begin
a #BulldogSummer social media blitz on Monday (July 9) as a way in
which to interact with fans leading into the 2012-13 athletics
campaign.
FSU's two-month "Bulldog Social Summer" will run from July 9 to
the first official day of the new athletics campaign on Aug. 30
when the Bulldog Football team ventures to Joliet, Ill., to take on
the University of Saint Francis.
While fans are eagerly waiting for the Bulldogs to return to
action, the #BulldogSummer initiative will allow them to talk
Bulldog Athletics online with other fans, win prizes and have fun
while keeping up with the Bulldogs on various social media
platforms.
Aptly named #BulldogSummer, the plan will feature different
interactive components for each day (Monday-Sunday) via Twitter,
Facebook and FerrisStateBulldogs.com, as well as other special
features.
Additionally, an all-new FerrisStateBulldogs.com will be part of
the #BulldogSummer and be launched in the near future.
The daily themes for the
#BulldogSummer include:
Mic'd Up Monday - Watch an interview with some of
the most interesting people in Bulldog Athletics including
student-athletes, coaches and more.
Trivia Tuesday - @ferrisathletics Twitter
followers and official Facebook friends will be asked to correctly
answer a Bulldog Trivia Question. Everyone with a correct answer
will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to any Bulldog
football game this year. Better study up on your Bulldog
History!
Where Are You Wednesday - Upload photos of
yourself or family members to the Ferris Athletics Facebook page or
tweet them online. Whether you're from other parts of the
country, in your office at work or resting on the couch, share your
Bulldog pride with others for a chance to win!
Throwback Thursday - We're scouring the archives
for fun photos, old game programs and maybe even an article from
the past. See them on Twitter and Facebook. You'll be surprised at
how awesome some of our uniforms and athletes looked back in the
day!
Football Friday - Catch up on the latest
happenings with Bulldog Football as FSU players, coaches and staff
prepare for the 2012 season. Read or watch an interview, hear a
quote, catch the links or find out a fun Bulldog football fact as a
new era begins!
Future Bulldog Saturday - Post photos of your
little ones on our facebook or twitter pages in Bulldog
clothing. Help us expand our reach and include the youngest
