Bulldog Football Golf Outing On June 2

Big Rapids, Mich. - Registrations are currently being accepted for the 29th annual Ferris State University Football Golf Outing, which will be held Saturday, June 2, at the new Clear Lake Golf Club in Big Rapids, Mich.
The four-person shotgun golf scramble, which is sponsored by the FSU Gridiron Club in conjunction with the Bulldog Athletic Association (BAA), serves as one of the Ferris State football program's primary fundraising events. The shotgun start will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis with all activities this year taking place at Clear Lake Golf Club (formerly Meceola Country Club).
The cost for this year's event is $90 per player, which includes golf green fees, power cart, lunch before play, refreshments and a buffet style dinner. Women participants will be allowed to hit from the red tees. A great package of team and individual prizes will be awarded.
Many prizes will be raffled off and there will also be a silent auction with great Bulldog prizes, including: The FIRST new FSU Bulldog Helmet signed by Coach Tony Annese; A NEW FSU Bulldog jersey; An All-Access/Sideline pass to all games, practices and team functions (Home/Road) in 2012; Tent with tables and chairs set up outside of Top Taggart Field for Hillsdale (Homecoming); along with some surprise items!
The Holiday Inn has reserved a block of rooms for June 1 and June 2. The Holiday Inn (231-796-4400) is a full service hotel and will offer the Bulldog Package room rate of $75 per night (double occupancy). The Holiday Inn is located across the street from Buffalo Wild Wings, owned by the Carmody's, who are former Bulldog football players. Reservations must be made in advance by May 15 to guarantee the discounted rates with the Holiday Inn. Please let the hotel know that you are with the "Ferris Football golf outing" to receive the rates.
Individuals are encouraged to submit their registration forms along with complete payment as soon as possible or by May 25 to guarantee participation in the football golf outing. Checks may be made payable to Ferris State University with "Football Golf Outing" in the memo line.
