Bio

The 6-7 Staples tallied 19.3 points per game last season en route to earning Indiana All-State accolades at Mishawaka High School under head coach Ryan Watson. He also tallied 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while claiming first-team all-conference laurels. The standout wing has been ranked among the top 25 players overall in the state by Prep Hoops Indiana and is one of the top three power forwards in the Hoosier state. He once scored 29 points in a contest last year and has also played high-level AAU basketball for the Indiana Elite guided by Rick Ellsworth. Staples has also achieved in the classroom with an overall GPA of 3.4 to date.
