GLIAC Tournament Matchups Set For Ferris State Basketball; Men Host NMU, Women Visit NMU

Big Rapids, Mich. - The matchups are set for the Ferris State University men's and women's basketball programs as both squads will take part in the 2019 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament with quarterfinal-round action on Tuesday, March 5.

The Bulldog men's team, which is the four-time defending league tournament champion, will be the #4 overall seed and host fifth-seeded Northern Michigan on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. (ET) in round one at FSU's Jim Wink Arena.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog women's squad earned the number five seed and will visit fourth-seeded Northern Michigan on Tuesday night with tipoff set for 6 p.m. (ET) inside the Berry Events Center in Marquette.

The top remaining seed in both the men's and women's tournaments following quarterfinal-round play will host the semifinals and finals on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10. Grand Valley State earned the top women's seed with Davenport drawing the number one seed in the men's tourney.

Tickets for Tuesday's men's league tourney quarterfinal at home are on sale now and are available for purchase either in person thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office or online at

Ticket prices for the league quarterfinal are $8 for adults or $2 for all students older than age five, including college students with identification.

All seats are general admission and no regular-season passes of any type such as the Division II Pass for Two will be accepted per league tournament regulations. All Rebounders Club members must also purchase tickets for postseason play per GLIAC policy.

The first 100 FSU students with a valid ID card will receive a free ticket starting one hour prior to game time at the ticket office while supplies last.
