Busy Week Of Home Hoops Action For Ferris State Men's And Women's Basketball Squads

Big Rapids, Mich. - It's a busy week of home hoops action as the Ferris State University men's and women's basketball squads take the floor inside FSU's Jim Wink Arena.

The unbeaten Ferris State men's basketball team, which is off to a nation-leading 5-0 start this year, takes on Illinois Tech in non-league play to begin the action on Wednesday (Nov. 13) night starting at 7 p.m. (ET).

Then, on Thursday (Nov. 14) evening, the Bulldog women's team plays its home opener against regional foe Hillsdale with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.

Finally, the Bulldog men's team wraps up this week's play on Saturday (Nov. 16) with a regional showdown against the Findlay Oilers starting at 3 p.m. (ET) inside Wink Arena.

The five wins to date for the Bulldog men's squad represent the most of any NCAA Division I, II or III school in the country entering this week's action. Meanwhile, the women's team got off to a 1-1 start on the road this past week with a split in Ohio, including a decisive victory over Lake Erie in the season opener.

All three games will be carried live by local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with pregame coverage starting a half-hour prior to each contest. Live video, audio and internet statistics will also be provided online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

Prices are $10 for adult general admission along with $7 for FSU Faculty/Staff and Seniors (ages 65 and up) in addition to $5 for students (age 3-17 years). All FSU students earn free admission with a valid student ID card.

The FSU Athletic Ticket Office's normal business hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. (ET).
