Ferris State Basketball Home Doubleheader Against Davenport Moved To Sunday

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced a change in this week's Bulldog men's and women's basketball home slate as Saturday's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) twinbill against Davenport has been pushed back a day to Sunday (Dec. 4) inside Wink Arena.

The game times for Sunday will remain the same with the Bulldog women taking on the Panthers at 1 p.m. (ET) with the men to follow at approximately 3 p.m. (ET).

The home doubleheader was moved back a day both due to staffing and logistical challenges in addition to accommodating fans wishing to attend the Bulldogs' NCAA Division II National Quarterfinal football game at rival Grand Valley State.

Prior to the weekend doubleheader, the Bulldogs first open GLIAC play at home on Thursday (Dec. 1) night against GVSU in Big Rapids with the women's game set to start at 5:30 p.m. (ET) and the men at 7:30 p.m. (ET).

All of this week's action will be carried live by local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with online coverage available at FerrisStateBulldogs.com. Pregame coverage begins a half-hour prior to each women's game.

Additionally, all four home games will also be streamed live on a pay-per-view basis by FloSports as part of the GLIAC's new streaming package.

Both Ferris State teams were picked to finish near the top of the GLIAC standings in the league's preseason coaches poll with the men first and the women second. Both squads are off to strong starts this year with the women currently unbeaten at 5-0 overall and the men holidng a 4-2 mark with four-straight victories to date.
