Nationally-Ranked Ferris State Basketball Squads Open GLIAC Play At Home Tuesday Night
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's basketball squads open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play at home on Tuesday (Dec. 3) evening with both teams hosting Lake Superior State in a league twin bill at Jim Wink Arena.
The women's game will tipoff at 5:30 p.m. (ET) with the men's contest slated to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. (ET).
The Ferris State men's squad is currently off to an 8-1 overall start this year and ranked ninth nationally in last week's National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll while the Bulldog women are 5-2 to date and listed 19th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) D2 Top 25 Rankings.
Meanwhile, the LSSU men's team holds a 7-1 mark this season with the Lakers' women's team at 1-5 overall entering the first conference action of the year.
Tuesday night's men's game will be a rematch of last year's NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championship Game won by the Bulldogs in Indianapolis.
Both of Tuesday's games will air live on local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with online coverage at FerrisStateBulldogs.com. The pregame show starts at 5:30 p.m. (ET). In addition, both games will be streamed live on a pay-per-view basis by FloSports.

Following the home doubleheader, the Bulldogs will then head to the Chicago area to face GLIAC newcomer Roosevelt University for the first time on Saturday (Dec. 7) afternoon.
