Ferris State Basketball Teams Open New Year At Home This Week; Special Ticket Promotion!

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's basketball squads return from the holiday break as both teams resume Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play at home this week inside Jim Wink Arena.

FSU will host Saginaw Valley State in a conference twin bill on Thursday (Jan. 2) evening starting at 5:30 p.m. (ET) for the women and 7:30 p.m. (ET) for the men. On Saturday (Jan. 4), both teams entertain Wayne State with the women's tip set for 1 p.m. (ET) and the men at 3 p.m. (ET).

The Ferris State men's squad is currently off to a 12-1 overall start this year and ranked fifth in the nation. Meanwhile, the women are 8-3 overall and have also been ranked in the top 25 this campaign. Both squads are currently 2-0 in the GLIAC.
