A recap of the 2010-11 season along with remarks from the Ferris State University men's ice hockey team senior student-athletes are just some of the many highlights of the 2010-11 FSU Blueline Club's annual awards banquet, which will take place next Saturday, April 2, at the Falcon Head Golf Club in Big Rapids, Mich.

The popular post-season awards banquet begins with a social hour from 6-6:30 p.m. (EDT) followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. (EDT).  The awards portion of the program begins at 7:30 p.m. (EDT).

The event will recognize the 26 student-athletes comprising the 2010-11 Bulldog Hockey team with a special tribute to the eight graduating seniors - Mike Embach (Orland Park, Ill.), Mike Fillinger (Grand Ledge), Nate Hennig (Macomb), Justin Menke (Shamrock, Saskatchewan), Pat Nagle (Bloomfield), Todd Pococke (Saginaw), Zach Redmond (Traverse City), and Scott Wietecha (Wolverine Lake).  A video featuring the many highlights of the 2010-11 campaign will also be shown at the banquet.

Cost for the awards banquet is $20 per person and $10 for children under age 12.  Those who wish may also sponsor a Bulldog hockey student-athlete(s) for $20 apiece.  You may register up until Monday, March 21, 2011.  For banquet tickets and/or more information, please contact Marcia Cebulla at (231) 592-5316.
