Ferris State to Host Watch Party Friday
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State Athletics will be hosting a "watch party" for the Bulldogs' NCAA Hockey Regional game in conjunction with the annual FSU Football Lift-a-Thon on Friday night (March 23) at Wink Arena.
Admission is free and the doors open at 5 p.m. (ET), a half-hour before the opening faceoff. The ESPN produced game will be streamed onto an eight-foot projection screen for fans in attendance.
FSU is seeded second in the Midwest Regional and will face third-seeded Denver on Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (ET).
Ferris State's hockey game will be televised live throughout the ESPN Syndication networks beginning at 5:30 p.m. (ET) and will be replayed on ESPNU at 11:30 p.m. (ET) on Friday evening. Altitude Sports and Entertainment will also simulcast the game live on DirecTV, channel 681 and Dish Network, channel 410.
For the first time, this year's Lift-A-Thon will also coincide with the first spring practice under first-year head coach Tony Annese, which will take place under the lights at Top Taggart Field beginning at 9 p.m. (ET). Fans are invited and encouraged to attend both events.
