Bulldogs Land Eight On Division I Krampade All-American Scholars List

Big Rapids, MI - The Ferris State University Ice Hockey team netted eight honorees on the American Hockey Coaches Association (ACHA) 2019-20 Division I Krampade All-American Scholars List.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have a 3.6 GPA each semester and participate in 40 percent of his/her school's games at an AHCA-member institution. The 109 WCHA players honored are among 571 All-American Scholars recognized by the AHCA this year. Nationally, 318 men's players and 253 women's players were selected

Seniors Cameron Clarke, Nate Kallen, Dominic Lutz, Joe Rutkowski, and Zach Yoder, junior Coale Norris, and sophomores Justin Michaelian and Roni Salmenkangas each made the cut.

Ferris State's eight selections were tied for second most amongst Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) teams, making up over 15 percent of the WCHA's honorees.

Earlier this year, 11 Bulldogs were named All-Academic team members in the WCHA, with eight garnering Scholar Athlete honors.
