Big Rapids, Mich. - The 2022-23 Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) league schedule has been officially release by the league office as the Bulldogs set to embark upon their second season in the newly reformed CCHA.

With the unbalanced schedule, Ferris State will play 14 league contests inside Ewigleben Ice Arena and 12 on the road this coming season for 26 league contests.

The Bulldogs open their league schedule against the University of St. Thomas on Oct. 28-29 before their first long road trip of the year as they head to Bemidji State on Nov. 4-5 to face the Beavers at the Sanford Center. After a scheduled off week of league play, the Bulldogs return home to face off with rival Bowling Green on Nov. 18-19 before breaking for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

December opens a challenging slate of travel as the Bulldogs travel to Mankato to take on the National Runners-Up in the Minnesota State Mavericks on Dec. 2-3 before retrurning home to face in-state foe Northern Michigan on Dec. 9-10 in Big Rapids. Ferris State has a final road test heading into the holiday season when they travel West to take on St. Thomas for the second time in the first half of the year in the Twin Cities.

Out of the Holidays, Ferris State hits the road again to face off with Lake Superior State in Sault Ste. Marie on Jan. 13-14. The Bulldogs return home for their only league meetings of the year with Michigan Tech in a rematch of the hotly contested 2022 CCHA Quarterfinal series that featured three overtimes over two games on Jan. 20-21.

Ferris State welcomes the National Runners-Up in on Jan. 27-28 when they draw the Minnesota State Mavericks in. The Bulldogs defeated the Mavericks in Big Rapids last November, one of their six losses on the year.

The Bulldogs next head south to Bowling Green on Feb. 3-4 to take on the Falcons before turning around and hosting Bemidji State on Feb. 10-11. Ferris State's final road trip of the regular season is to Marquette to take on Northern Michigan on Feb. 17-18.

The final weekend of the regular season is set for Feb. 24-25 when the Bulldogs welcome in Lake Superior State for Senior Weekend festivities in Big Rapids.
