Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team was recently represented by four individuals on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Teams for the 2010-11 season as announced by the league office.

Senior Kyle Revall picked up All-GLIAC First Team accolades this season.  Meanwhile, senior Steven Roberts and junior Jack Swan were both second team honorees while junior Justin Hermes claimed honorable mention kudos.

League champion Northwood swept the GLIAC postseason awards as Antoine Panguad was voted the GLIAC's Player of the Year, Valentine Bayle earned Freshman of the Year honors and longtime head coach Zane Colestock picked up GLIAC Coach of the Year recognition.

Nine individuals were named to both the conference's first and second teams with 13 others attaining honorable mention laurels.  Voting was conducted by the league's member coaches.

Revall claimed All-GLIAC First Team honors for the second consecutive year while Swan earned second team status for the second-straight year.  Roberts previously was an honorable mention selection last season.

The duo of Revall and Roberts teamed up to win 11 doubles matches this season while Revall was victorious in nine singles matches at the number one flight.  Roberts recorded a 13-7 mark in number three singles competition.

Meanwhile, Swan held down the number two spot in the singles lineup and posted a 6-3 mark in GLIAC action.  He also teamed with sophomore Tyler Marengo for a 15-5 doubles mark at the second flight this year.  Hermes played the fourth spot in singles and was 12-9 this year, including a 7-2 mark in conference play.

The Bulldog men's tennis team finished with a 14-8 overall record this year and won seven of nine league outings.  They placed third in the 2011 GLIAC Tournament held April 15-17 in Midland (Mich.) under head coach Alex Palladino.
