Men's Tennis Picks Up Season-Opening Win

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team rolled past Albion by a 9-0 score in its 2012-13 season opener on Saturday (Sept. 15) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs took control of the match early by sweeping the doubles round and then won all six singles flights in straight-sets.

The victory was the first for FSU on the men's side under first-year head coach Chad Berryhill, who also directs the women's program.

Ferris State received double wins from all six players in the lineup as they won their season opener in convincing fashion.

FSU wis back in action on Sept. 28-30 as the take part in the annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional action at Indianapolis, Ind.
