Men's Tennis Wins Third-Straight Home Match With Narrow Victory

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team registered its second win in as many days as the Bulldogs captured a close 5-4 triumph over Ohio Dominican in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Saturday (Feb. 23) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.

The Bulldogs won their third match in four days and improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the GLIAC by beating the Panthers on their home courts.

Ferris State grabbed a 2-1 lead following doubles play with wins at the number one and two flights.

In singles action, the Bulldogs pulled out victories at the two, three and four middle positions to register the win.  Sergiu Laza, Tyler Marengo and Razvan Mag were all double winners on the day for the Bulldogs.

Ferris State wraps up its four-match homestand by hosting Findlay on Sunday (Feb. 24) beginning at 10 a.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.
