Men's Tennis Registers Decisive Home Win In Return To GLIAC Play

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team resumed Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Saturday (March 23) and posted a decisive 9-0 win over visiting Lake Superior State.

The match took place inside the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids and opened up a two-match weekend homestand for the Bulldogs.

Ferris State took the three doubles flights quickly with the scores decided by 8-2, 8-2 and 8-1 margins, respectively.

In singles action, the Bulldogs pulled off the sweep by winning in straight-sets at all six positions.  The closest matches came at the fifth and sixth flights and both were ecided by identical 6-1, 6-2 scores with Otto Keresztes and Aaron Dial notching the wins.

Ferris State improved to 7-2 overall and remained unbeaten in the GLIAC at 4-0 with the impressive win.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Sunday (March 24) morning as they host Michigan Tech in Big Rapids beginning at 10 a.m. (ET).
