Busy Home Weekend For Ferris State Men's & Women's Tennis

Big Rapids, Mich. - It's a busy home weekend for the Ferris State University men's and women's tennis teams as the Bulldogs will play three matches over the course of three days at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldog women's squad, which is currently 15-8 overall this year, will play its final match of the regular-season against Davenport on Friday (April 8) starting at 2 p.m. (ET).

Meanwhile, the men's team resumes Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play following a week off by hosting Lake Superior State on Saturday (April 9) and Michigan Tech on Sunday (April 10). Saturday's tilt against the Lakers begins at 11 a.m. (ET) with Sunday's encounter versus MTU beginning at 10 a.m. (ET).

The Bulldog men's team is presently 13-4 overall this season and 3-0 in the GLIAC to date this year. FSU also owns a perfect home record at 7-0 this camapign heading into the weekend action.

Ferris State is presently ranked 36th in the country in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Men's Tennis Rankings along with second in the Midwest Region. The Bulldog women are currently ninth in the region.
