Men's Tennis Closes Spring Trip With Close Loss To 17th-Ranked Southeastern Oklahoma

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team faced another tough battle on Thursday (March 9) as the Bulldogs wrapped up their annual spring trip with a 5-4 setback to 17th-ranked Southeastern Oklahoma in non-league play on the road.

The 20th-ranked Bulldogs fell to 6-2 overall with the loss as they finished up their trip to Oklahoma and Texas over the annual spring break period.

The Bulldogs fell behind 2-1 in Thursday's match and could not recover despite winning three of the six singles flights.

FSU's only other loss this year came at the hands of 15th-ranked Midwestern State (Texas) on the same trip Tuesday, but Ferris State also posted a win over 16th-ranked Cameron (OKla.) to open the trip last Sunday.

The  Bulldogs will be back on action with three outings March 17-19 at the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover in Plainfield, Ill.
