Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's track and field program will host open tryouts for the 2019-20 season on Thursday, Sept. 12, at FSU's Top Taggart Field.

The tryouts will get underway at 3 p.m. (ET) and all participants must be registered with the NCAA eligibility center and have a 10-digit ID number. FSU freshmen must be a full qualifier and current Ferris State students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and averaged 12 credits passed per semester.

In addition, each participant must have passed a physical in the last six months and filled out a sickle cell waiver form.

The final roster will be determined by tryouts, academic standing and available space. Tryouts will be open for all running and throwing events.
