On Deck With Stevenson:
Why I chose Ferris State: It has a good elementary education program and it's fairly close to home. I also afforded me the opportunity to play softball.
The thing I like most about Ferris State Softball: My teammates are great as is the coaching staff.
If I could change one thing about softball, I would: have the season in the fall when the weather is better.
If I could meet anyone in history it would be: Ashton Kutcher
My favorite movie: How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and The Guardian
My favorite music group: Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts
My worst fear: To lose someone I love
Something unusual about me is that: I love to karaoke!
My pregame ritual is: listen to music and visualize myself making good plays along with hitting the ball
My role model is: my parents
The motto I live by: Work hard! If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it or work around it.
What has been the most thrilling moment of your life outside of sports?: Passing history class in college
My first softball memory is: in T-ball. I swung the bat and missed the ball, but hit it the second time around during my 360 degree swing.
