GLIAC Announces Change To Ferris State's Scheduled Sunday Doubleheader Against SVSU

GLIAC Announces Change To Ferris State's Scheduled Sunday Doubleheader Against SVSU

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced a change to the league's softball rain date schedule this weekend which impacts Ferris State University's remaining regular-season slate.

The Bulldogs were previously scheduled to makeup their final conference regular-season home twinbill against Saginaw Valley State on Sunday (April 26) at the FSU Softball Field.

The conference office, however, has determined Saginaw Valley State's doubleheader versus Wayne State, which was called off Wednesday, has more bearing on the GLIAC's regular-season championship and therefore will be played on Sunday.

The GLIAC office will make a determination on Sunday after the SVSU/WSU series has ended in regards to whether or not the FSU/SVSU series will still need to be played.

The Bulldogs have a pair of league doubleheaders on the slate this weekend, which remain scheduled to be played. FSU will visit Hillsdale on Friday (April 24) for a two-game set starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET) for game one and 5:30 p.m. (ET) for game two in Hillsdale, Mich.

Then, on Saturday (April 25), FSU visits Findlay for a twinbill with first pitch for the opener at 1 p.m. (ET) and game two to follow at approximately 3 p.m. (ET).
