Had a strong start to her sophomore season with a .302/.424/.566 (batting average/on base percentage/slugging percentage) slash line…led the team in home runs (3), slugging percentage (.566), total bases (30), and extra base hits (7)…pitched one inning…collected 16 hits in 53 at-bats…hit for a .254/.335/.409 line as a freshman with 23 RBI’s and a team-leading eight triples…also had five doubles and a home run to go with 13 walks…played for coach Troy Ungrey at Grandville High School…also played basketball at the prep level where she was a team most valuable player, and honorable mention all-conference…was an all-conference, district, and regional selection twice and an all-state honoree once…earned team most valuable player in softball as well…helped Grandville to two conference championships, a district and regional championship, and a Class-A state runner-up finish…was teammates with fellow Bulldog Taylor Buiter at the prep level…native of Grandville, Michigan.
