Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University softball team's previously rescheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader on Sunday (April 30) to close out the regular-season at rival Grand Valley State has been cancelled due to expected weather and field conditions and will not be made up.

FSU finished by winning three of its last four contests and five of the final eight games overall, including a split on Saturday in the final action against the league's second-place team in Saginaw Valley State.

Overall, Ferris State also finished with an 11-11 mark in GLIAC action and the Bulldogs earned a top-four finish in the conference standings and will be the number four seed for the league tournament.
