Ferris State Women's Basketball To Hold First-Ever Golf Scramble

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball program has announced plans for its first-ever Golf Scramble, which will take place on Thursday, May 29, at Pilgrim's Run Golf Club in Pierson, Mich.

The event, which will serve as a fundraiser for the program, will also provide an opportunity for the women's basketball squad to thank donors and friends for their support. All family, friends, fans along with current and former players and coaches are invited to take part.

Both door prizes and raffle items will be given away during the four-person scramble, which includes a round of 18 holes and cart, registration gift, lunch at the turn along with proximity prizes for $100 per player or $400 per team.

Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. (ET) with a shotgun start taking place at 10 a.m. (ET). A registration form is available online at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com/information/golfoutings and payment can be made electronically online or via cash or check made payable to "Ferris State Women's Basketball".

All registration materials should be sent to University Advancement & Marketing, FSU Prakken Building 101, 420 Oak Streek, Big Rapids, MI 49307.

In addition, sponsorships are also available for the inaugrual golf scramble. A hole sponsor package is available for $150, which includes the name/logo on a signe at the tee box. It also includes an option of being a hole sponsor along with a team foursome for $500.

Other sponsorship opportunities include a driving range sponsorship for $250 with the name/logo displayed on a sign at the driving range prior to the morning round. With a foursome of golf added as an option, the driving range sponsorship is $600.

Finally, those interested can be a putting green sponsor for $250 with the name/logo displayed on a sign at the putting green or for $600 including the foursome option.

All proceeds from the event go directly to the women's basketball program.
