
Bulldog Women's Golf Holds On To Third Place At Folds Of Honor Challenge Heading Into Final Day
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team held its third-place standing at the Folds of Honor Challenge following day two play on Monday (Sept. 16) in Allendale at The Meadows Golf Course.
The Bulldogs, who shot a 311 first-round total on Sunday, came back with a 306 figure in Monday's second round of action and are currently third overall at 617 for the three-round event. The final 18 holes take place on Tuesday.
Host Grand Valley State holds the lead thru two rounds with a 602 figure followed by Findlay at 603 overall.
FSU's Kamryn Shannon moved up to a tie for third place overall in the field as she recorded a two-over 73 total in the second round after notching a 75 in the first round. She's currently at 148 thru 36 holes of play.
The Bulldogs' Hallie Crozier posted a 79 in round two and is 12th on the leaderboard with a 156 figure overall. She had shot a 77 in round one.
Additionally, Lizzie Anderson is currently at 157 overall via scores of 80 in round one and 77 in round two.
Ferris State's Taylor Musselman posted a 77 in the second round following an 82 in the opening round and is tied for 18th with a 159 total to date.
Meanwhile, FSU's Ashley Thomasma took part in the event as an individual and is tied for 26th with a 164 total, posting an 84 in round two after beginning with a 80 on Sunday.
The final round of play starts on Tuesday (Sept. 17) at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
