Time & Location Changed For Tuesday's GLIAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinal

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced the starting time and location for Tuesday's (Nov. 3) Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Quarterfinal against Northwood have been changed.

The Bulldogs, who are the number two seed for the league tournament, will host the seventh-seeded Timberwolves in a tournament quarterfinal-round contest on Tuesday. The match time is now set for 2 p.m. (ET) and the contest will be played on the FSU Soccer Field in Big Rapids.

The contest will represent only the second-ever postseason home quarterfinal hosted by Ferris State.

Tickets for Tuesday's quarterfinal tilt will be sold on gameday starting one hour prior to the contest. Per league tournament policy, no Division II passes for two or soccer all-season passes will be accepted.

The first 100 FSU students arriving for the contest with a valid ID card will receive free admission for the quarterfinal contest.

Along with the FSU-Northwood contest, the three other league tournament quarterfianls include third-seeded Ashland hosting sixth-seeded Michigan Tech (2 p.m.), fifth-seeded Northern Michigan visiting fourth-seeded Ohio Dominican (4 p.m.) and top-seeded Grand Valley State welcoming eighth-seeded Malone (7 p.m.).

The top remaining seed following quarterfinal-round play will then host the league tournament semifinals and finals on Friday, Nov. 6, and Sunday, Nov. 8. The semifinals will take place on Friday at times to be announced with the league final set for Sunday.

Ferris State finished as the league regular-season runner-up, which is the highest conference finish in program history. FSU also broke school records for most wins, longest winning streak, longest unbeaten streak, most shutouts in one season and consecutive shutouts during the 2015 regular season campaign.

The Bulldogs are presently 13-4-1 overall on the year. FSU finished conference play with a 9-2-1 overall record. FSU is also presently listed sixth in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings with the top six teams at the conclusion of league tournament play earning bids to the NCAA-II Tournament.
