FSU Women's Soccer At Home For Two Outings This Weekend With Senior Day Sunday

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer team returns home for two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contests this weekend as the Bulldogs welcome Wisconsin-Parkside and Purdue Northwest to the Bulldog Soccer Field.

FSU will first host Parkside on Friday at 4 p.m. (ET) before taking on Purdue Northwest for Senior Day on Sunday starting at 12 p.m.

Prior to Sunday's contest, the Bulldogs will recognize seven seniors during the annual Senior Day ceremony, including goalkeepers Alison Chesterfield (South Elgin, Ill.) and Grace Kraft (Williamston) along with Morgan Irwin (Rockford), Maddie Fouts (Richland), Tia VanSuilichem (Caledonia), Jenna Hong (London, Ontario) and Brandi Wagner (Gaylord).

Presently, the Bulldogs are 9-2-1 overall and hold a 3-1 mark in GLIAC action this season.

This weekend's first opponent, Parkside, is currently 5-6-1 on the year and 0-3-1 in the GLIAC while the Pride starts weekend action with a 1-9-1 record to go with a 0-4 league mark.

To date, the Bulldogs are 5-1-1 at home this year and will have only one more regular-season home tilt remaining after this week, which is the regular-season finale against Northwood on Friday, Nov. 8.

This year's senior class ranks among the winningest in program history and helped lead FSU to the school's first NCAA Tournament appearance and a runner-up league finish a year ago. Presently, the Bulldogs are listed sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Midwest Rankings.
