
Women's Tennis Builds Early Lead Before Falling To Ashland In League Play
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team bolted out to a 3-0 lead after the doubles round, but fell to Ashland in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play by a 5-4 count on Saturday (Oct. 12) in Ashland, Ohio.
The Eagles managed to win five of the six singles flights in rallying back for the win over the Bulldogs.
With the loss, Ferris State fell to 7-5 overall this campaign.
FSU wraps up a three-match weekend trip to Ohio by facing Tiffin on Sunday (Oct. 13) starting at 9 a.m. (ET) in Tiffin, Ohio.
