Bio

2016 (Freshman): Played in seven sets over five matches for Ferris State, helped Bulldogs to their third consecutive GLIAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship and second consecutive NCAA Regional Final appearance…had two kills and eight assists on the season…earned first kill vs. Walsh on 9/23…played in two sets and had six assists, a career high on 9/24 vs. Olivet Nazarene.

The 5-10 Grimes had a standout career at Nazareth Academy for head coach Wayne Saunders in LaGrange Park, Ill. A 2015 All-East Suburban Catholic Conference selection, Grimes was a Suburban Life Newspaper All-Area choice and claimed all-tournament team recognition at both the Champaign Centennial and the Bradley Bourbonnais Invitationals as a prep senior.

Besides competing in volleyball, Grimes was also active in the Road Runner Club and the Youth Initiative at the Nazareth Academy while serving as a leader for the Caring Place for Kids. She's the daughter of Bob and Susan Grimes.
