Big Rapids, Mich. - Fans not able to attend Friday's (April 18) Crimson and Gold Spring Football Game at Ferris State University's Top Taggart Field can listen to a live online broadcast of the contest at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

The Bulldog Sports Network will carry the live play-by-play action via an internet-only audio broadcast for the annual spring contest.  Pregame coverage will start at approximately 11:30 a.m. (ET) leading up to the 12 p.m. (EDT) kickoff.

The Ferris State football broadcast team of Rob Bentley (play-by-play) and Sandy Gholston (color commentary) will call the action from the Wheeler Pavilion Press Box at Top Taggart Field.  Scoring updates from the game will also be provided via FSU Athletics' official Twitter and Facebook pages.  A live chat function is also offered on the Bulldogs' multimedia portal.

The Crimson & Gold Spring Game will continue FSU's first official spring practice drills under head coach Tony Annese.  The Bulldogs opened the spring workouts on March 21 and the slate includes a total of 15 workouts per NCAA regulations.

Saturday's contest will provide fans with an opportunity to watch the Bulldogs for the first time since last fall in a game-like situation under Coach Annese and his staff.

The Bulldogs will begin their 106th season of varsity competition this coming fall with their sights set on competing for a potential GLIAC Championship and a NCAA Division II Playoff berth after posting only the program's second eight-win season in the last 16 years during the 2013 campaign.
