Big Rapids, Mich. - A pair of Ferris State University men's golfers have been tabbed among the best in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for the 2013-14 season as the league recently announced its all-conference teams.

Bulldog senior standout Trent Davison (Rockford) was one of eight players named to the All-GLIAC Second Team while junior Chris Eaton (Edwardsburg) was an all-conference honorable mention choice.

A total of 21 players were named to either the first, second or third teams in the all-conference process.

All-GLIAC Men's Golf selections were based upon a player's stroke average in his 10 best rounds in league play, including the three rounds of the GLIAC Tournament.  All ties were also broken by total strokes in the conference tournament.

This year marked the third consecutive year in which Davison has attained either All-GLIAC First or Second Team recognition. He previously was chosen as one of 12 players this year to make the 2014 Divison II PING All-Midwest Region Team.

Meanwhile, Eaton attained all-conference laurels for the first time in his collegiate career.

The Bulldogs, under seventh-year head coach Mike Mignano, made their 12th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in men's golf this season. FSU wrapped up action in the 2014 NCAA Central/Midwest Super Regional Championships by coming away with a 13th-place team finish in Eureka, Mo.
