Ferris State Golf Teams Ranked Among Region's Top 10 Squads

Big Rapids, Mich. - Both the Ferris State University men's and women's golf teams are currently ranked among the region's top 10 teams as announced by the NCAA this past week.

The Bulldog men's team is one of 10 schools ranked in the Midwest Region with all the men's teams ranked in alphabetical order and not numerically at this time.

Meanwhile, the women's squad is currently listed 10th overall in the East Region rankings.

On the women's side, Indianapolis is first with Findlay second and Grand Valley State third in the regional listing. A total of five GLIAC schools are included in the top 11 with Wayne State (#6), Northwood (#9) and Saginaw Valley State (#11) joining FSU and GVSU.

On the men's side, the Bulldogs are joined by GLIAC members GVSU, Wayne State and Saginaw Valley State in the alphabetical listing of 11 teams from the Midwest Region.

The Bulldog men's team will compete in the Bill Blazer Memorial on Friday and Saturday (April 9-10) in Pataska, Ohio. Meanwhile, the women's squad will next take part in the Walsh Invitational on Sunday and Monday (April 11-12) in Canton, Ohio. 

The GLIAC Championships for both squads are set for April 16-18 in Augusta, Mich.
