Men's Golf Opens Action With 303 Team Score At Motor City Invitational

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team opened play in the Motor City Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 10) at the TPC of Michigan in Dearborn and shot a 303 team score.

The Bulldogs finished +15 for the opening round of the 15-team event being held on the par 72 course measuring 7,056 yards. 

Ferris State was led by Nathan Kraynyk, who shot a one-over par 73 and is currently tied for 20th in the field.

The Bulldogs' Trent Barth sits tied for 40th with an opening-round 75 while Joshua Jeffords carded a 77 and is tied for 47th in the event.

Meanwhile, Andrew Proctor shot a 78 in the first round and is tied for 54th overall with Zach Koerner tied for 65th after notching an 80 in round one.

The final 18 holes of play are slated to be held on Monday (Oct. 11).
