Ferris State Takes Third Overall In West Michigan Tri-Match Men's Golf Event

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team claimed third place on Friday in a special West Michigan tri-match event.

The Bulldogs shot a 298 team figure in the afternoon event that took place at The Mines Golf Club.

Overall, FSU was only two shots behind runner-up Davenport, which carded a 296 figure. Grand Valley State finished first overall, shooting a 284 figure.

Ferris Sate will return to action on Monday and Tuesday, March 27-28, at the Findlay Spring Invitational slated to be held in Lexington, Ky.
