Big Rapids, Mich. - A pair of Ferris State University women's golf standouts have received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors for the 2021-22 season as announced this week by the league office.

In voting by the league's member head coaches, FSU's Alayna Eldred (Osakis, Minn.) was recognized as an all-conference first team pick while Dani Staskowski (Clarkston, Mich./Notre Dame Preparatory) garnered honorable mention all-league laurels.

Overall, only a total of 19 student-athletes were honored as first, second or honorable mention choices this year.

This year represented the second consecutive year in which Eldred has attained All-GLIAC First Team recognition. Meanwhile, Staskowski received all-conference honors for the first time in her collegiate career.

The duo led the Bulldogs to their first NCAA postseason appearance in eight years this past season. The Bulldogs finished 11th overall at the 2022 NCAA East Regional Championships and came in fifth overall at this year's GLIAC Championships as a team.

Both Eldred and Staskowski placed among the top 20 golfers at this spring's GLIAC Championships held April 22-23 in Augusta (Mich.) with Eldred placing 13th overall and Staskowski coming in tied for 18th on the individual leaderboard.
