Ferris State Sixth After First Two Rounds At Bing Beall Fall Classic

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf squad tallied a 629 score thru the first two rounds of the William "Bing" Beall Fall Classic and currently sits tied for sixth overall after day one on Monday (Oct. 3) in Findlay, Ohio.

The Bulldogs shot an opening round score of 311 and a second-round 318 figure, coming in +53 for the opening 36 holes of action in the event at the Findlay Country Club. The par 72 course measured in at 6,115 yards.

Ferris State was led on Monday by both Dani Staskowski and Elaina DeRose, who both carded scores of 155 and sit tied for 21st in the field. They each shot a 79 over the first 18 holes and came back with 76 scores in round two.

FSU's Lizzie Anderson notched a 160 score thru the opening two rounds and is tied for 41st overall as she shot an 81 in round one and a 79 in the second round.

Meanwhile, Alayna Eldred posted a 161 score and is tied for 46th after day one, posting a two-over par 74 in the first round and an 87 in the second round.

Finally, Kamryn Shannon recorded a 79 in the opening round and an 87 in round two, which was good for a share of 64th place at 166 for the day.

The Bulldogs' Susie Gietl also competed as an individual and came in with a 165 total for a share of 59th place. She totaled an 85 in the first round followed by an 80 in the second round.

Action wraps up with final-round play on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. (ET).
